Dr. Tui Taoi MBBS MRCOG is a Member

of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom. She graduated from the University of PNG in 1981 and completed 2 years of internship at Port Moresby. She commenced work as registrar at CWM in 1987 and also gained further experience in the paediatrics unit. During her training, she spent 6 years in the United Kingdom and completed her final years of specialist training at North Tyneside General Hospital, Newcastle Upon Tyne. There she gained valuable exposure to high-risk obstetrics, low-risk obstetrics, medical conditions in pregnancy and ultrasound. Her special interests include
-High Risk Pregnancies
-Gynaecological Surgery –with a focus on vaginal hysterectomy

She also held administrative positions as the Western Division Director for Health for 5 years , Medical Superintendent- 2 years whilst still providing clinical services to patients during that time. She currently lectures medical students at the University of Fiji and has previously mentored registrars in training.
