It was a privilege to meet with the Mata ni Tikina – Tai, who looks after the three villages of:

It is time for us to sit together and openly discuss the important issues affecting our people, our families and our communities.

We need to identify the challenges our people are facing, understand what interventions are already available, and most importantly, agree on the small but practical steps we can begin taking now.

Change does not always begin with a big programme or a large amount of funding.

Sometimes it begins with a conversation, good leadership, cooperation and one small action at a time.

🎀 PINKTOBER AWARENESS SESSION AT LYNDHURST 🎀

Yesterday, we had the privilege of conducting our Pinktober Awareness Session with the management and staff of Lyndhurst.

Our purpose was simple — sharing information that can inform, educate and empower our people to take their health seriously.

Our message remains the same:
🌸 1. KNOW YOUR NORMAL
Understand your body and recognise when something changes.

🌸 2. EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES

Don't wait until symptoms become serious. Early testing and early action can make a difference.

🌸 3. INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH FOR YOUR CHILDREN

Your health is not only about you. Your children and family need you. Taking care of yourself is also an investment in their future. ❤️

The session was very interactive and informative. We shared the information in simple, practical language that everyone could understand, with plenty of questions and answers.

We also included some fun icebreakers in between the discussions to keep everyone relaxed, engaged and comfortable asking questions. 🙌

❤️ One of the most touching moments was seeing breast cancer survivors among us — women who have faced the diagnosis, gone through the fight and continue to stand strong today.

Their presence reminded us that behind every cancer statistic is a mother, wife, sister, daughter, workmate or friend.

To every breast cancer survivor: we honour your courage, your journey and your strength. 🎀
Your story gives hope to another woman who may be frightened to get checked.

Your journey reminds us why awareness matters.
And your presence reinforces the message we continue to share:

Today, we farewell Dr. Sailasa Luvunakoro — Naita.
You have been a great friend, and it was truly a pleasure and blessing to work alongside you. Your kindness, humility, and service will always be remembered.

To your dear wife and children, may the peace, comfort, and strength of God be upon you during this difficult time.

You will surely be missed, Naita.
