We’re proud to share another wonderful harvest from the Frank Hilton Organization’s vegetable garden! ❤️

Since Edwin Narayan joined the organization, one of the goals we discussed was restarting a vegetable garden for our hostel residents—continuing a meaningful initiative that had been part of Hilton in the past.

Today, that vision is growing beautifully! 🌱 Our second crop of cabbages has been harvested, helping us bring fresh, nutritious greens straight from our garden to the Hilton Home table for our residents. 🥬❤️

A big thank you to Edwin, our hostel team, and everyone supporting this initiative. Together, we’re growing more than vegetables—we’re growing wellbeing, sustainability and care for our Hilton Home family. 💚

A Promise Kept: Standing with communities. Going Beyond for Inclusion.

Sometimes inclusion means going beyond what we usually do.

Earlier this year, during a visit to Matainasau village together with the CBM Australia Team, our CEO, Sureni Perera, received a special request from the Turaga ni Koro. The village was building a dispensary and needed support to equip it with essential furniture and equipment.

While such support is beyond FHO’s usual scope of work, we recognised the strength, care and commitment this community shows to one of our children living in the village. Our team chose to stand alongside them, raising funds to help make their village dispensary ready to serve families and children.

FHO was also honoured to invite Ministry of Health officials from the Family Health Unit to join the visit. They shared valuable awareness messages on child health, immunisation and early childhood development—helping ensure that families have information that supports every child to thrive.

The day was more than the opening of a dispensary. It was a celebration of community courage, resilience and collaboration. It showed what becomes possible when people join hands around a shared belief: that every child, including children with disabilities, belongs and deserves to be supported within their own community.

This visit not only fulfilled a promise made by our CEO to the Turaga ni Koro; it reaffirmed FHO’s commitment: where a community has the strength and heart to support a child with a disability, Frank Hilton Organization will stand beside that community.

Vinaka vakalevu to the Turaga ni Koro and the entire village for welcoming us so warmly and inviting us to be part of this significant occasion. Together, we can go beyond expectations to build communities where every child is valued, included and able to flourish.

Building confidence, community, and inclusion through sports.

Last week, our team had the privilege of being part of the CEACOSIE Regional Games! Watching students from across the region showcase their talents in table tennis, volleyball, soccer, and precision sports was nothing short of inspiring.

Events like CEACOSIE remind us why creating inclusive opportunities for every child matters. Thank you to everyone who supported, cheered, and competed!

From 12th –21st July 2026, our Physiotherapy Team travelled across to Northern Division, meeting incredible children and their families whose strength, resilience, and hope continue to inspire us.

During this outreach, we achieved:

✅ 22 wheelchair fit-outs
✅ 1 wheelchair follow-up and assessment
✅ 22 physiotherapy follow-up sessions and wheelchair user training sessions

Throughout the outreach, 22 children and their families received properly fitted wheelchairs, giving them greater comfort, improved mobility, and increased opportunities to participate in everyday life. Families also received hands-on training and guidance on safe wheelchair use, positioning, care, and maintenance, helping them confidently support their child's mobility at home and in the community.

As part of the outreach, the team also met with the Physiotherapists at Labasa Hospital and Nabouwalu Hospital to strengthen professional collaboration, discuss referral pathways, and share knowledge on supporting children with disabilities.

The Frank Hilton Organization was proud to host our first-ever Psychology and Learning Support (PALS) Stakeholder Consultation Meeting, bringing together an inspiring group of academic professionals and practitioners who share a common commitment to strengthening support for children with diverse learning and developmental needs across Fiji.

The PALS Department aims to:
💙 Increase awareness and understanding of neurodiversity.
💙 Develop culturally grounded pathways for children requiring additional learning and behavioural support.
💙 Strengthen the skills of local community members.
💙 Build local capacity to deliver targeted, evidence-based learning support for children and their families.

We sincerely thank all participants who contributed their knowledge, expertise, and valuable insights towards shaping a more inclusive future for children and families.

In early July, FHO Audiometrist Shabina Dean participated in the Eisdell Moore Centre Symposium in Auckland. During her visit, she also engaged with leading ear and hearing care services, including The Hearing House and Health NZ Counties Manukau - Manukau Superclinic, gaining valuable insights into best practices in service delivery.

Shabina shared her experiences with fellow providers and returned with a wealth of knowledge that will strengthen FHO’s ongoing delivery of audiology services in Fiji. Her inspiring journey—as a mother of a young woman with hearing loss and as Fiji’s only female audiometrist—was also featured as a case study during the keynote address delivered by FHO CEO Sureni Perera.
