As a certified and experienced physiotherapist of +25 years, alongside being a fitness and yoga enthusiast.
I have been taking my work to the next level by participating in an in-depth learning course.
ROLFING - Structural Integration
It comes in 10 different sessions known as 'the Rolfing Ten Series'.
Each series/session, works on specific fascia lines of the body with the intention to create long-term structural change (shape), balance, and function (movement) of the entire body.
These are techniques developed by Dr. Ida Rolf in 1940's-1950's. She was greatly inspired by early osteopathy, chiropractic, yoga, and movement education.
Since her time, the technique has continued to evolve to reflect and incorporate the latest in medical advances and research in pain, neuroscience, and the fascial system.
Rolfing helps to improve the quality of the bodys connective tissue and the body's aligned position in relation to gravity, resulting in a better functioning system as a whole.
When the body has been re orientated towards its natural alignment, it has an incredible ability to heal itself.
It is not a traditional massage, as massage targets primarily the muscles.
These are deep-seated techniques that affect the fascia of the body.
The fascia is a remarkable tissue that surrounds every organ and structure of the body.
It has a close relationship with the nervous system and memories, whether that be stress, insult, fear, loss..
therefore, it is affected by trauma and injury (physical, mental, and emotional).
I look forward to sharing my new level with you from July 2026
Suitable for everyone.
