Here are the offerings in VO (English) for the week 23-3- June
A disappointing week. New films include Le Virtuose, a thriller where a piano prodigy is drawn into the criminal world, starring Dustin Hoffman; The Christophers a comedy drama where a renouned painter has stopped producing work and his sons hire a ‘carer’ to ostensibly finish 8 canvases entitled The Christophers.
Disclosure Day, Obsession and Backrooms continue.

WICM Book Group Friday 3 July
The book we are discussing in July is This is Happiness by Niall Williams
It is set in rural Ireland and is narrated by a young man who has renounced the church and is staying with his eccentric grandparents in a very small town. It is full of observations about rural life, the local people and the countryside and is frequently very funny.

As usual all are welcome. It helps if you have read the book so you can contribute to the discussion.

Linda Cahill, (details on the recent email) who suggested the book has kindly offered to host and will arrange picnic boxes from Le Pantry. Please let her know if you will be coming and if you wish to have a picnic box at 16€ (Please have the right money). They are very generous and you can choose Chicken, Veggie or Fish so please give Linda your choice.

Please also note the 'instructions' re parking!!!

Finally, this is the last chance to submit your suggestions for the next year's book groups as we will hold the draw at this group meeting. So we have 25 suggested books so if you have not sent Jacky your selections, please do so as soon as possible so she has time to collate them. Please include the title, author, a brief synopsis, number of pages, genre and price. We will hold a random draw by genre to make the selections for next year.

Here are the offerings in VO (English) for the week 17-23 June
Disclosure day is a scifi starring Emily Blunt and Colin Firth and Josh O’connor, a cybersecurity expert who comes to discover the truth about alien life. He decides to become a whistleblower and share the truth with the world, putting him in conflict with the head of a corporation. Backrooms is a horror where a researcher with the Async Research Institute, Naren Warne, is separated from his group and becomes lost in an extradimensional space known as "the Backrooms". While attempting to call for rescue, Naren is chased and attacked by an unseen entity. Pillion is an erotic comedy drama where a timid gay man meets an enigmatic biker. Charlie’s country is an Australian movie about an aboriginal man who is struggling with the challenges posed by the government intervention of his land. The Furious is an all action Hong Kong film where a man fights to get his kidnapped daughter back.
Some like it Hot, American Graffiti and Dead Poets Society are the golden oldies.

This is a reminder for Chair Yoga this upcoming Friday, June 19 at 11:00 at La Maison Pour Tous in Florensac .

Visit to la Criée le Grau d'Agde - 29 May

The Belvédère have described what's in the dégustation - this will consist of small portions of local produce, fish soup, a rillette of locally caught fish accompanied by a glass of white wine.

We have enough spaces for guests.

Here are the offerings in VO (English) for the week 20-26 May.
One new musical offering – Charlie XCX documentary. Described as ‘Like watching the Mona Lisa being painted’ Make of that what you will. Other new films are the Mandalorian and Grogu, a Star wars franchise starring baby Yoda, The New West – where an unlikely woman takes in rebellious teenagers and teaches them ranch skills. It is set in South Dakota badlands, and Passenger, a horror, Continuing are Le Diable s’habille en Prada, Michael and Obsession.
