We got lost. The GPS quit. The neighbor griped. We could feel our bad moods meeting in the middle.

But the beauty was still there.

Yesterday reminded me that aggravation and happiness can live at the same time. And we still decide what receives our attention now.

Ray Benson ordered a 36-ounce tomahawk steak and once again proved he can eat more than any human I’ve ever seen.

He didn’t completely defeat it—but he definitely established dominance.

Somewhere during this battle, I started thinking about Monty Python and that wafer-thin mint. Ray was absolutely stuffed, but still standing. 😂

My steak-and-lobster plate wasn’t exactly shabby either. I didn’t make it through half of mine, so the lobster went straight into the refrigerator. Tonight’s dinner: cold lobster from the fridge.
