📊 The consultation ends. Clarity should not.
Your patient leaves the chair with a treatment plan and, roughly ten minutes later, half of what you explained. By the time they discuss it at home, the X-ray you pointed at is a memory.
That is where the post-consultation report changes things. The X-ray, the highlighted elements, the plan — sent to the patient, in a format they can reread, share and act on.
For a DSO, it is more than a nice touch:
- clearer follow-up, because the patient has the same material you do
- better understanding, because they can revisit it without you in the room
- stronger treatment acceptance, because a patient who understands is a patient who can decide
Standardise patient follow-up across your network — not by scripting your clinicians, but by making sure no patient leaves with only half the story.
