One thing about us:
We WILL make a ridiculously big deal out of our marriage. 😂🤍
We are extra. We are over the top. We celebrate our anniversary like it’s a national holiday.
And I hope we never stop.
Because before I was a wife, I prayed for this marriage.
I waited for this man.
I spent years dating, learning, growing, getting my heart broken, and asking God to help me recognize the kind of man I could build a life with.
And one of the things I wanted most was a man who wouldn’t just pursue me until he “got” me.
I wanted a man who would keep pursuing me in marriage.
A man who would prioritize our relationship.
Who would protect what we have.
Who would celebrate our love.
Who would never get so comfortable being married to me that he stopped being intentional about being my husband.
And that’s exactly what I found. 🥹
THANK YOU JESUS! 🙏🏼
So yes, we make a HUGE deal out of our anniversary.
Not because marriage is always easy or because ours is perfect…
but because we genuinely believe what we have is worth celebrating.
To the single woman reading this:
WAIT for the man who is excited to be your husband.
Wait for the man who sees marriage as something precious.
Who wants to keep choosing you, pursuing you, dating you, praying with you, growing with you, and celebrating the life you’re building together.
You’re not asking for too much by wanting a man who takes marriage seriously.
And when God brings you that kind of love, never stop making a ridiculously big deal out of it. 🤍
