Cette année, le réseau O‑Rares et la Filière Maladies rares Têtecou étaient représenté à l’International Association for Disability & Oral Health (IADH) 2026 à Dublin 🇮🇪🦷
🔹 En précongrès, le cours « Interdisciplinary Approach to Amelogenesis Imperfecta » a été organisé par le le Pr Susanne Krämer, avec la participation du Pr Agnes Bloch-Zupan et du Dr Alexandra Jimenez‑Armijo (CRMR Strasbourg).
Pendant 3 heures, un panel international de cliniciens et d’investigateurs a passé en r***e :
les bases moléculaires et génétiques des amélogenèses imparfaites (AI) isolées et syndromiques,
les altérations de l’émail et les manifestations orales associées (résorption, troubles de l’éruption, atteintes parodontales),
les nouvelles recommandations de prise en charge clinique,
l’apport du design numérique et les considérations orthodontiques chez l’enfant, l’adolescent et l’adulte.
Une approche résolument multidisciplinaire et centrée patient.
🔹 Pendant le congrès, le Dr Ariane Camoin Migliardi (CRMR Marseille) a présenté un travail sur les expériences des patients face à la sédation, à l’anesthésie générale et à la contrainte physique en odontologie de soins particuliers, dans le cadre du séminaire « Sociological and Ethical Aspects of Oral Healthcare ».
Une contribution essentielle pour mieux comprendre le vécu des personnes concernées et faire évoluer les pratiques.

EN - This year, the O‑Rares network and the Filière Maladies rares Têtecou were represented at the International Association for Disability & Oral Health (IADH) 2026 in Dublin 🇮🇪🦷
🔹 In the pre‑congress, the course “Interdisciplinary Approach to Amelogenesis Imperfecta” was organised by Prof. Susanne Krämer, with the participation of Prof. Agnès Bloch‑Zupan and Dr. Alexandra Jimenez‑Armijo (CRMR oral and dental rare diseases, Strasbourg).
Over 3 hours, an international panel of clinicians and investigators reviewed:
the molecular and genetic basis of isolated and syndromic amelogenesis imperfecta (AI),
enamel alterations and associated oral manifestations (resorption, eruption disorders, periodontal involvement),
the latest clinical management recommendations,
the contribution of digital design and orthodontic considerations in children, adolescents, and adults.
A truly multidisciplinary, patient‑centred approach.
🔹 During the congress, Dr. Ariane Camoin (CRMR Marseille) presented work on patients’ experiences of sedation, general anaesthesia, and physical restraint in special care dentistry, as part of the seminar “Sociological and Ethical Aspects of Oral Healthcare”.
A key contribution to better understand the lived experience of those affected and to help evolve practice.
