🔎 Product Focus: Dentocore Body

Dentocore Body is a dual-cure, fluoride-releasing resin composite material designed for core build-ups and post cementation.

✅ Firmer Consistency
Its firmer consistency allows the material to stay in place, even in the case of complex maxillary abutments.

✅ Solid Support for Final Reconstruction
A high degree of polymerisation based on PHB technology (Hyperbranched Multi-Methacrylate Polymers) and nanoparticles, combined with its limited shrinkage rate.

✅ Convenient to Use
A consistent and homogeneous mix ensures controlled application and distribution.

✅ Time saving
Same product used to seal and restore the core

🦷 Clinical Focus

Dual-curing resin cement has gained considerable acceptance in clinical practice due to its ability to reduce chairside time and achieve the bonding of opaque indirect restorations.

Dual-curing resin cement has been introduced with both photo-initiator and self-curing initiator. The ability of self-curing components to achieve the same performance as light-curing has been the focus of considerable interest.

Recent findings also showed that the bonding strength and durability of dual-cure resin cements were significantly improved by the light-curing process.

🦷 Did you know?

When restoring a tooth, your core build-up material must have a flexural modulus as close as possible to natural dentin, which is evaluated between 11 to 20 GPa.

According to recent scientific literature, this specific mechanical property is critical. If your material does not match the tooth's natural flexibility, it creates high stress concentrations at the interface, leading to microleakage or catastrophic root fractures under masticatory forces.

This is why modern dual-cure composite resins are preferred. They offer a highly homogeneous polymerization and superior stability, allowing them to perfectly mimic natural tooth structures.

🔎 Product Focus: Dentocore

Dentocore is a dual-cure, fluoride-releasing resin composite material designed for core build-ups and post cementation.

✅ Light Viscosity
Its light viscosity enables the material to flow into fissures and narrow spaces.

✅ Endodontic Applications
Its flowability allows use in endodontic procedures.

✅ Solid Support for Final Reconstruction
A high degree of polymerisation based on PHB technology (Hyperbranched Multi-Methacrylate Polymers) and nanoparticles, combined with limited shrinkage.

✅ Convenient to Use
A consistent and homogeneous mix ensures controlled application and distribution.

✅ Dual Cure
Combines self-curing and light-curing for reliable polymerisation.

🦷 Did you know?

While cementation is known for retention, its primary clinical duty is to create a flawless hermetic seal. According to recent literature, any marginal gap encourages salivary infiltration and microleakage over time.

When the luting agent fails to seal properly, bacteria colonize the area, increasing the risk of:
- Secondary caries (a leading cause of prosthesis failure)
- Pulpal vitality loss and hypersensitivity
- Periodontal problems around the margins

This is why advanced adhesive resin cements are preferred. They offer superior mechanical properties and bond strength to perfectly isolate and protect the tooth from the oral environment over the long term.

🔎Product Focus: Total C-ram

Total C-ram offers a dedicated self-etching and self-adhesive resin cement for ceramic.

👀 Why choose it?

✅ Bonding quality
Acid monomers ensure strong adhesion to dentin and enamel.

✅ Dual-Cure
Self-curing supports adhesion in areas where light cannot reach, while light-curing enables faster setting and easier excess removal.

✅ Natural aesthetic finish
It's thickness (10 um) makes it particularly suitable for aesthetic veneer bonding.
3 shades available (Translucent, Opaque dentin, and White) to match your specific needs.

✅ Time-saving
1 single product, self-adhesive and self-etching

🦷 Clinical Focus

Tooth sensitivity is the most frequently reported side effect of whitening procedures.

Hydrogen peroxide diffuses through enamel and dentin, reaching the pulp and inducing a pulpal response associated with sensitivity.

This reaction is typically transient and occurs during or shortly after treatment.

Understanding this mechanism is essential to better anticipate and manage patient expectations.

🦷 Did you know?

Cementation is often considered a final step
but in reality, it plays a critical role in the long-term performance of indirect restorations.

The choice of luting material directly influences:
- bond durability
- mechanical behavior of the restoration
- overall clinical longevity

Resin-based cements have significantly evolved, offering improved adhesion and performance.

☝️ Have a question about cementation?
