🍁Autumn Equinox / Mabon🍁
The wheel turns again once more, this time to the second harvest (Autumn Equinox) bringing with it the balance between light and darkness ☀️🌙
This altar is filled with all that autumn brings
🧡orange candles remind us of the warmth of the fading sun
🌰🍁seeds and berries gathered from the trees remind us of the cycle of life, future growth and new beginnings. The seeds remind us that an ending is never truly an ending, when they fall to the earth they lie dormant waiting for the right time to grow again.
The crystals bring us courage and passion in carnelian, grounding, strength and protection from red jasper, while clear quartz brings us clarity and amplification. Corrine shows us gratitude of the summer and abundance and prosperity reminding us to appreciate what we have.
Autumn Equinox is a time to give thanks for what has grown, to celebrate what we have harvested and release what we no longer need. Now is the time to plant the intentions we wish to carry into the next season. Oh and let’s not forget the leaves as they are about to show us in all their glory how wonderful change is.
