Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

It’s great to get out and enjoy the sunny weather! ☀️

Remember to stay safe in the sun with our top tips:

🧴 Use suncream that’s SPF 30 or higher

🕐 Try to stay in the shade when the sun is strongest (between 11am and 3pm)

👕 Wear loose clothing to cover your skin

It’s also important to stay hydrated when you’re out in the sunshine. Remember to drink fluids throughout the day and take extra water with you when heading outdoors.

All packs of Ramipril 2.5mg capsules, CRESCENT BRAND, Batch number GR155023, expiry 08/2027 are being recalled as a precautionary measure.
If you were prescribed ramipril 2.5mg capsules and have received the impacted product, please contact the pharmacy.

The batch number and expiry date information can be found on the outer carton.
If you are unsure or have any questions, please pop in to the pharmacy with your medication.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month.

Early detection is important so if you have a new mole or changes in a current mole then get it checked out.

Here is the ABCDE guide:

Asymmetry - One half of the mole or spot does not match the other half.
Border - The edges are irregular, ragged, notched, or blurred.
Color - The color is not consistent throughout, showing different shades.
Diameter - The spot is larger than 6 mm
Evolution - The mole is changing in size, shape, color, or elevation over time. It may also develop new symptoms like itching, tenderness, or bleeding
