LYMPHATIC TAPING β€” 1 DAY COURSE | Β£230

Already trained in lymphatic therapy and want another tool in your clinical toolkit?

Lymphatic taping can be hugely supportive for clients dealing with oedema, lymphoedema, fibrosis, scar tissue and altered lymphatic pathways.

This 1-day practical course covers:

🧠 Kinesiology tape theory β€” myth vs fact
πŸ’§ Lymphatic disorders your clients may present with
🎯 Supporting clients with oedema & lymphoedema
πŸͺ¨ Techniques for fibrous tissue & fibrosis
πŸ”€ Redirection of flow following lymph node removal
🩹 6D taping around scar tissue
πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ Acredited CPD course IPHM

We’ll look at how taping can complement your hands-on lymphatic work and provide additional support for clients between treatments β€” particularly those managing chronic lymphatic issues.

Because being a good therapist isn't about having one technique.

It's about understanding what your client needs and having the skills to support them.

πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ’§ Fascia and lymph aren't separate systems β€” they're basically in a relationship, and when one's unhappy, the other knows about it.
I don't treat lymph in isolation. Joints, muscles, fascia, breathing, nervous system, movement, fluid β€” it's all connected, all the time.

So when someone asks "do you work on fascia or lymph?" β€” my answer is always yes.

Can we talk about what's happened to the lymphatic system on social media?

It's become a hashtag for "snatched," de-puffed, and Instagram-filtered. Wrapped up in wellness aesthetics and reels promising a slimmer jawline by Friday.

And meanwhile, actual clinical lymphatic work β€” the kind that helps people manage lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, chronic inflammation, autoimmune flare-ups β€” gets completely drowned out.

That frustrates me. Genuinely.

Because there are people out there who could be getting well. Staying well. Being well. If they had access to practitioners who understood the lymphatic system as the complex, clinically significant system it actually is β€” not just a marketing angle.

Your lymph system isn't here to make you "snatched." It's here to keep you healthy. To drain, to detoxify, to support your immune system, to help your body heal.

So let's get back to basics. Let's talk about what the lymphatic system actually does β€” and why the practitioners who understand it deeply deserve way more airtime than the ones with the best lighting.

Education over aesthetics. Every time.

πŸŒ€ LYMPH CURIOUS β€” WHAT A DAY!

Thank you SO much to everyone who came along. We learned, moved, breathed, laughed and got our lymph flowing!

We covered lymphatics, fascia, feet, nervous system, vagus nerve, facial drainage, jaw & tongue work, neurology and so much more β€” all without needing an A&P degree! πŸ˜‚

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Quarriers Village. You made me feel so welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. What a vibe! ❀️ Truly a special place because of the people who work there!

And Lilia… thank you for persuading me to come down. πŸ˜‚ I'll definitely be back!

I'd love to know β€” what would you like to see MORE of from the workshop?

And a little shout-out to some of the brilliant people who influence and inspire my work. I definitely didn't dream all this up myself! πŸ˜‚

β€” Dr Perry (the main man)

β€” Leah

and of course to Hugh Gilbert who is no longer with us. The first mentor who helped me see things differently.

There is always more to learn.

Stay curious. Keep questioning. Keep moving. πŸŒ€

πŸ“š LEVEL 3 ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY – HOME STUDY

Want to build a proper understanding of the human body before progressing into massage or other therapy training?

My Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology course is designed to give you a solid foundation in how the body is structured and, importantly, how it works.

You’ll learn about:

🦴 The skeletal system
πŸ’ͺ Muscles, tendons & ligaments
🧠 The nervous system
❀️ Cardiovascular system
🫁 Respiratory system
🍽️ Digestive system
🦠 Immune system
πŸ’§ Lymphatic system
βš™οΈ Endocrine system
…and much more.

This is not a quick online course you can skim through in a weekend! There is a LOT of information to learn, so you’ll need a bit of commitment, discipline and a study plan.

But the good news is that you work completely at your own pace.

πŸ“– Β£165
πŸ’» PDF workbook
⏰ Up to 6 months to complete
πŸ“ Past papers available for practice
βœ… 50-question multiple-choice exam
πŸŽ“ Self-paced learning – no videos or live classes

The 6 months is there to give you a timeframe and keep you on track β€” if you have more time available and are able to dedicate yourself to studying, you may be ready to sit the exam much sooner.

And because everyone learns differently, YouTube can be a brilliant addition to your learning, especially for visual anatomy demonstrations and animations.

If you're serious about understanding the body rather than just learning a list of words, this is a great place to start.

4 new MLD therapists. One very powerful OG. πŸ’§

On Friday at Quarriers Village, I had the pleasure of teaching four new therapists the art of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).

And I’m going to say something that probably won’t win me any popularity points on Instagram…

MLD is the OG of lymphatic drainage.

The internet can sometimes have you believing that BLD, lymphatic suits, wooden tools and all the latest gadgets are lymphatic drainage.

They can absolutely have their place. Things evolve. New techniques and technologies can be fantastic additions to treatment.

But let’s not overlook MLD.

MLD is a powerful, hands-on treatment designed to work with the lymphatic system and encourage lymph flow. It also supports the movement of fluid, proteins, immune cells and cellular debris through the lymphatic system.

A wooden tool or mechanical suit cannot replicate the hands-on specificity and feedback of a trained therapist.

I said what I said. πŸ˜‚

That doesn't mean BLD, pressotherapy, massage, tools or other modalities aren't fantastic. I use a combination of approaches in my own treatments depending on what the person in front of me actually needs.

But somewhere along the way, we seem to have become so removed from simple, effective work because it doesn't always look as impressive on Instagram.

My intention has always been pretty simple:

Help people.
Be transparent.
Keep things evidence-informed.
And don't overcomplicate something that works.

So if you've been thinking about trying MLD, go and find a properly trained therapist near you and experience it for yourself.

And if you want to train in MLD, I have dates coming up in Aberdeen.
πŸ“§ Email [email protected] for course dates and information.

To my four new therapists β€” welcome to the world of MLD. πŸ’š
