We’re proud to announce a new partnership between GSR Training and Champion Street Football.

Champion Street 2026

At GSR Training, we believe that strong communities are built by passionate people who are committed to making a difference, and Champion Street Football is doing exactly that through the power of sport.

As part of this partnership, we’ll be supporting their coaches, volunteers and staff with essential training, including SYFA Sports First Aid and Safeguarding, helping to ensure that participants can enjoy football in a safe, positive and supportive environment.

At GSR Training, we believe that being qualified to deliver training comes with an ongoing responsibility to keep learning ourselves.

All of our instructors hold "Train the Trainer" qualifications, but we don't see that certificate as the end of our development. It's the foundation.

We regularly undertake CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and make time to:

📚 Keep our knowledge and skills up to date
📖 Stay informed about changes to relevant legislation and guidance
🔍 Review and update our training materials and content
💭 Reflect on our own training practice and identify areas for improvement
🤝 Share knowledge and challenge each other
✅ Keep ourselves accountable for maintaining professional standards

We believe good training isn't simply about what you know. It's about making sure what you're teaching remains accurate, relevant and useful to the people you're training.

And that means our learning doesn't stop when we leave the training room.

Fire can spread quickly and knowing what to do to prevent and/or in case of emergency can make all the difference. We are delivering our Fire Safety and Fire Marshal Training on the 22nd of October at GSR Training.

Fire safety is a critical part of workplace health and safety in any industry, and ensuring staff understand fire risks, prevention measures, and emergency procedures can significantly reduce the risk of injury, damage, and disruption in the event of a fire.
