Hmmm🙄
Kingsley Madueke, a 40-year-old okada rider living in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and an indigene of Ihiala, Anambra State, is now in police custody following a tragic incident that reportedly began with a crying baby.
Kingsley is a father of eight children, and his youngest was barely one month old.
According to reports, the baby’s cry woke him in the middle of the night. He reportedly called his wife to breastfeed the child, but she allegedly refused, saying she was exhausted and could not feed the baby at that hour.
An argument reportedly followed.
In a moment of anger, Kingsley allegedly slapped his wife. She fell to the ground and, tragically, did not survive the fall.
Today, a mother is gone. Eight children are left without her. A one-month-old baby has lost the mother it still needs. And Kingsley, the father, has been arrested.
Now the question tearing opinions apart is this:
Should Kingsley be shown mercy because eight children still need their father, or should he face the full weight of the law for allegedly causing his wife’s death?
One moment of anger.
One violent act.
A lifetime of consequences.
