🎬 Our monthly Healthiest Town Cinema Club, in association with The Birks Cinema Aberfeldy , uses the power of film to get us talking, thinking and perhaps even seeing things a little differently, inspired by our four pillars: Eat Real Food, Move More, Find Balance, and Connect Through People, Purpose and Nature.

Our screenings range from feature films to documentaries, with selected events featuring discussions, talks and Q&As, giving us a chance to share ideas, hear different perspectives and connect with others.

We’re looking for gardens that are buzzing with life! 🐝🌸

Healthiest Town Aberfeldy is delighted to be leading the Nature Friendly Garden Competition this year. We'd love you to take part in the competition!

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, we'd love you to enter. It's not about having the biggest or most perfectly kept garden—it's about creating a space where nature can thrive and support local wildlife.

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including:
🧑🏻‍🌾 Overall Winner: £100 and a beautiful commissioned garden sculpture, created in memory of Mary McDougall, whose vision inspired this competition.

~ Community lunch on Monday, June 15 ~
A celebration lunch for the older members of our community. Join us for a lovely lunch, fun quiz and music to celebrate our community, and the Scotland football team embarking on their World Cub journey. 12.30pm to 2pm at the Birks Cinema, Aberfeldy, donations welcomed. During June's Open Gate Festival, local fruit and veg growers will be opening their garden gates to visitors. This is a great chance for people to speak to them about what they do, the highs and lows and, in particular, for newbie growers to get support and advice about starting out.

And there's a chance to visit two primary schools' garden classrooms...

Thursday, June 11: Open at garden Grandtully Primary School - see what the pupils are growing and find out more about their food project. 1.30pm to 3pm.

Friday, June 12: Join Kenmore Primary school pupils in their garden and learn with them. 1.30pm to 3pm.
