Hoffen gadarnhau y bydd cyfarfod nesaf Cyd-bwyllgor Canolbarth Cymru yn cael ei chynnal am 2.00yp ar dydd Mawrth 1 Medi 2026 trwy MS Teams.

Bydd y papurau a'r ddolen Teams yn cael eu hanfon atoch un wythnos cyn y cyfarfod.

Mae croeso i’r cyhoedd i ymuno i arsylwi ar y cyfarfod. Bydd cyfle i godi unrhyw gwestiynau a rhoi adborth ar gwaith y Cyd-Bwyllgor yn ystod rhan benodol yr eitem agenda "Gwrando i Chi". I would like to confirm that the next meeting of the Mid Wales Joint Committee will be held at 2.00pm on Tuesday 1st September 2026 via MS Teams.

The papers and Teams link will be sent to you one week before the meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to join to observe the meeting. There will be an opportunity to raise any questions and provide feedback on the work of the Joint Committee during the specific agenda item “Listening to You”. If you are unable to attend but wish to present your comments for inclusion at the meeting, please submit them by e-mail to myself [email protected] by Monday 17th August 2026.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust are inviting the public to learn more about plans to transform local hospital services at a series of information drop-in sessions taking place across libraries this winter.

The sessions are part of a winter roadshow for the Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP), giving people the opportunity to find out more about the upcoming changes to the organisation of hospital health services from 2028 and ask any questions they may have.

The multi-million pound investment will improve care for everyone through modern, purpose-built facilities and ensure more people get the care they need, at the right time and in the right place.

Each drop-in session will be informal, with no need to book in advance.

• Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre – 8 January, 10am-12pm
• Newport Community Library – 13 January, 10am-1pm
• Whitchurch Library – 23 January, 9.30am-12.30pm
• Oswestry Library – 28 January, 9.30pm-12.30pm
• Broseley Library – 6 February, 10am-1pm
• Ludlow Library – 11 February, 10am-2pm
• Newtown Library – 24 February, 10am-1pm
• Donnington Community Hub as part of the Live Well Hub – 6 March, 9.30am-11.30am
• Madeley Library – 12 March, 10am-1pm
• Bishops Castle Library – 20 March, 10am-1pm
• Welshpool Library – 23 March, 10am-1pm

Dr Ed Rysdale, Emergency Medicine Consultant and HTP Clinical Lead, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to understand what HTP means for them and their families.

“Holding sessions in local libraries allows us to meet people in their communities and answer their questions ahead of these changes taking place in 2028.”

NEWS: Powys Budget Survey Launched
The people of Powys are invited to share their views on how money should be spent on local services for the year 2026–27 and beyond, the county council has said.
Feedback will help shape decisions on priorities such as schools, care for older people, and maintaining roads, helping us build a Stronger, Fairer, Greener Powys where every voice shapes the future of our communities and the services that matter most.
