🐝 Happy World Bee Day from our Wales teams!

Yesterday, our colleagues and the people they support buzzed with creativity to mark World Bee Day - baking and decorating beautiful bee-themed cakes, getting crafty with some wonderful bee-inspired artwork, and doing their bit for the planet 🌻

The rain had other ideas about the sunflower planting, but that's just being saved for a sunnier day!

Small moments like these are what supporting a brighter future looks like in action - for the people we support, and for the world around us 🐝

Well done to everyone involved - we think the results look absolutely bee-autiful!

EMPOWERING HEALTH 💪

The people we support from our Gloucestershire services recently proved that learning about health is best done together.

In a gathering of supported living and residential services from across the area, we partnered with the NHS and Inclusion Gloucestershire to host a pilot awareness session focused on bowel cancer and healthy eating for adults over 40 with learning disabilities.

The afternoon was an empowering session for everyone, with the people we support taking charge of their own wellbeing 💩

NATHAN'S SUCCESS STORY 💙

When we last caught up with Nathan, he was living at Ashbrook Neuro Rehabilitation following a motorcycle accident, which resulted in him suffering a fracture to the left side of his body and a brain injury. With personal determination and person-centred support, he has now moved to a more independent living environment, where he continues to achieve goals ✨🫶
