My client already had lovely pink lips that she just wanted to enhance (mainly to make them appear slightly fuller). We enhanced the lip line and corrected the asymmetry on the left side of her cupid's bow by lifting slightly. 💋

My client already had full lips from filler but a bit of lip blush can enhance them even more! 😍⁣

There are some spots that we need to go over at the touch-up but this is due to my client becoming swollen. Filler contains hyaluronic acid meaning when we tattoo, the lymph fluid is absorbed by the hyaluronic acid causing them too swell. We will work over the spots we didn't manage to finish in 6 weeks! 🙌🏼⁣

My client's touch-up fresh off the needle with only some aftercare ointment on lips. 🙌🏼 Her lips were already a soft pink but we enhanced the border to make them look fuller. I used x Dusty Pink pigment. ⁣

🐄HOW DAIRY AFFECTS SKIN🐄

Acne is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease of sebaceous follicles. Studies have shown that intake of any dairy (any milk and yoghurt) regardless of amount or frequency were associated with a higher rate of acne compared to no intake.

🧀 Intake of cheese was associated with a borderline higher rate of acne compared to no intake.

FACTS ABOUT ACNE & DAIRY

🐮 Acne is an INFLAMMATORY skin condition and consuming milk can increase internal INFLAMMATION.

🐮 Contains casein and whey protein. When we digest these proteins it causes our body to release the IGF-1 hormone which is similar to insulin. Increased IGF-1 levels can influence acne and it has a stronger impact on acne in adult women as it raises sebum levels (oil production).

🐮 The hormones in milk can interact with our body's own hormones and confuse our endocrine system. The endocrine system releases hormones into the bloodstream and lets the hormones travel to cells in other parts of the body. This interaction signals acne breakouts.

🐮 Lactose is the sugar naturally present in milk. Humans break down this sugar with the lactase enzyme. As we get older it becomes more difficult to break lactose down and digest it. 68% of the world is lactose intolerant.
