Care Coordinator
Salary: £31,200 per annum
Location: Community-based (UK driving licence required)

Carluke Dignity Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Coordinator to support the effective day-to-day running of our care services. This is a key role within the organisation, ideal for a passionate care professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting staff to achieve their best.
About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will work closely with the Care Manager and Recruitment Manager to ensure care services run smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for staff coordination, audits, training, care planning, and compliance, while acting as a positive role model within the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Care Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
• Create, manage and input staff rotas using company software
• Conduct monthly medication audits and review log sheets
• Assist with staff supervisions, training and development
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to service users
• Participate in the on-call rota as required
• Support recruitment processes and manage staffing vacancies alongside the Recruitment Manager
• Develop, review and update care plans
• Attend workshops and liaise with professional bodies to stay up to date with industry developments
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and care standards

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Confident IT and computer skills
• In-depth understanding of the health and social care sector
• Passionate about care and supporting others
• A positive role model who can motivate and support staff
Qualifications & Experience
• Level 3 (or above) Diploma in Health and Social Care
• Minimum 1 year experience in a managerial role within a care setting
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Care/Support Worker
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
