☀️ Here at the ILF headquarters in the UK 🇬🇧 we have been experiencing the highest temperatures ever recorded in May, with parts of the country entering heatwave conditions.

For those living with lymphoedema or wearing compression garments, warmer weather can make day-to-day management even more challenging.

Some great advice here from our Annual Partner Medi and their team in the UK on how to stay cool, comfortable, and supported in the heat 👏

A big thank you to the Medi team for continuing to provide expert support and practical advice to the lymphoedema community. 💙

📣 We are proud to present one of the major new publications launched during the programme at the 12th International Lymphoedema Framework Conference in Canada last October 🇨🇦

📘 STRIDE 2: Professional Guide to Compression Garment Selection for the Trunk and Upper Limb
This important publication represents a significant step forward in advancing evidence-based compression therapy for people living with lymphoedema.

As Professor Christine Moffatt highlights in the foreword, compression therapy is a “transformative treatment that should be available to everyone with lymphoedema, not only those with financial means.” The document also recognises the urgent need for greater global access, innovation, research, and collaboration in compression care.

🌍 STRIDE 2 provides clinicians with a structured, patient-centred framework for informed compression garment selection for the upper limb, breast, and trunk — helping improve outcomes and quality of life for patients worldwide.

👏 Congratulations to all contributors involved in this outstanding international collaboration.
