These can all be common responses to unresolved trauma.

Not everything you think is true.

Some thoughts are facts.
Some are fears.
Some are old stories you’ve repeated so many times they feel real.

Your mind is constantly generating predictions, assumptions, and worst-case scenarios. That doesn’t make them accurate.

A thought that says “I’m not good enough” is still just a thought.
A thought that says “I’ll fail” is still just a thought.

Yet the anxiety keeps coming back.

Often, anxiety isn’t driven by what you’re consciously thinking—it’s linked to deeper emotional patterns and memories stored in the subconscious mind.

That’s why understanding anxiety doesn’t always resolve it.

Hypnotherapy helps access those deeper layers, allowing lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.

Your nervous system is not broken. It is doing exactly what it learned to do.

The problem is it learned it a very long time ago and you dont have the tools to fix it on your own.

Your subconscious mind knows everything about you from the day you were born.

It’s like a library or a filing system of all your past experiences, since childhood.

Patterns of behaviour may have started a really long time ago, and it may be difficult for you to pinpoint when and to understand them.

That’s why the hypnosis technique Regression is so effective, because it identifies when a behaviour started - you go through a deep healing process that addresses the ROOT CAUSE of thinking or behaviour pattern.

Types of issues that regression therapy can help with:

👉 habits, such as nail biting

A little bit about your hypnotherapist and why I do what I do.

People often ask what led me into hypnotherapy and anxiety work, so I thought I’d share a little of my story 🩵

I hold an MSc in Psychology from the University of Glasgow and before becoming a therapist, I was a fully qualified teacher, which means helping people feel understood, supported and confident has always been at the heart of what I do.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to help hundreds of clients through anxiety, low confidence, fears, stress, trauma and emotional overwhelm. I’ve also worked with Beechwood Cancer Care Centre supporting clients dealing with anxiety around cancer diagnosis and treatment - work that will always stay close to my heart.

I’m fully qualified in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, Havening Techniques®, EFT and yoga, and I’ve been featured in Glossy Magazine, Silk 106.9 radio and even appeared in a TV documentary on Past Life Regression.

But more than qualifications or features, what matters most to me is helping people feel calm again… helping them sleep better, stop overthinking, regain confidence and finally feel like themselves again ✨
