Get to know your skin during 👋

Skin cancers are far more often seen than felt, so becoming familiar with what’s normal for your skin is key. Make it a habit to regularly check for any new spots or changes in existing moles or freckles.

Remember the ABCDE rule when assessing moles:

🔍 A – Asymmetry: One half doesn’t match the other
🔍 B – Border: Irregular, blurred, or jagged edges
🔍 C – Colour: Uneven shades or multiple colours
🔍 D – Diameter: Larger than 6mm (about a pencil eraser)
🔍 E – Evolving: Any change in size, shape, colour, or symptoms

If something doesn’t look right, it’s always worth getting it checked.
