A lot of people quietly pause their laser course once summer ends, assuming it is a warm-weather treatment. It is the opposite.

Lower sun exposure through autumn and winter makes treatment safer and more effective, not less relevant, because the laser targets pigment in the hair rather than the surrounding skin, and lower UV means fewer restrictions around it.

Stopping and restarting a course also tends to lose momentum, and the hair growth cycle does not pause just because the calendar changes.

Microneedling works by prompting a genuine healing response, which needs time between sessions to complete. Roughly four weeks apart, across a course of three to six sessions, gives the best balance of results and recovery.

Booking more frequently than that does not speed things up, it just interrupts the process the skin is already working through.

Shave the area the morning of your session, not days before, and avoid fake tan, sun exposure and strong actives on the skin beforehand. All of it affects how safely and effectively the laser can work.
