A Day of Special Moments at Sandpiper Care Home 🌟
Today was all about making memories and enjoying the little things that make a big difference. 💕 We spent some lovely one-to-one time with our residents, enjoying individual chats, activities and quality time together.

🍿 Our movie afternoon was a big hit, with plenty of popcorn and tasty treats to enjoy while we relaxed and watched together. 🎬❤️

Meanwhile, some of our residents chose to get involved in some fun games, sharing plenty of smiles, laughter and a little friendly competition! 🎲😊

It was a wonderful day filled with companionship, choice and those special little moments that make every day at Sandpiper Care Home so meaningful. 🥰

A lovely trip to Woodthorpe Garden Centre and the Aquatic Centre with three of our ladies. Making special memories and creating lots of smiles and laughter.

We have had a busy and fun day here at Sandpiper today. We spent the morning making bird feeders and fat balls for our feathered friends and can’t wait to hang them off our trees in the garden.

We went the cheer on the Tour of Britain cyclist this afternoon as they passed through our town. It was lovely to see our residents supporting them by cheering and clapping. We had our very own mascot with us too to bring them luck 🍀. Stopping off to have a cuppa before returning home.

This morning Ellie from Be Great Fitness came for her weekly session with our lovely residents. She always brings plenty of energy which is contagious and makes lots of smiles. We all look forward to Wednesday morning. After a morning of exercises we had a more chilled afternoon with dominoes, beanbag games.

A lovely little outing for some of our residents at Sandpiper Care Home today

We enjoyed a gentle walk out together,making the most of the fresh air and good company. Along the way,we popped out to pick up some bird feed, a few makeup treats, and even took a trip to the library.

There were plenty of smiles,chats, and shared moments throughout the day- it’s the simple trips like these that bring so much joy and create meaningful memories

We’re already looking forwards to our next adventure!
