We are looking forward to welcoming some staff members from Safelincs this week for National Volunteer Week. They will be shadowing lifestyles spending time with us getting to know our lovely residents playing games , going for walks and generally having fun. This will be beneficial for both them and the residents.

This morning, Norman enjoyed a gentle walk outdoors, spending time reminiscing while admiring the vintage cars and tractor. The stroll also included a lovely discussion about bedding plants, sharing memories and knowledge along the way.

Time for some pampering today. The residents were lined up for our Gunvar the resident hairdresser to give them a make over. Gents had trims and shaves and a new hair dos for the ladies. Manicures too left them feeling great 💅🪒💈💇‍♂️

Today, I spent some time walking around town with John, listening to him reminisce about the places he used to visit, the people he met along the way, and the shops that were once part of his daily life. We even stopped by his old house, which brought back so many memories for him.
Hearing his stories and seeing the joy they bring never fails to put a smile on our faces every single day.

Be Great Fitness with Ellie today 💪🎉

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful session of light exercise today, led by Ellie. The group took part in fun ball activities—gently throwing to and from, and using the ball to help stretch and strengthen their arms.

We also included some light chair exercises, giving everyone the chance to stretch out their legs and arms in a safe and comfortable way.
As you can see from the photos, there were plenty of smiles all around—everyone had a fabulous time! 😊
