This time of year’s a lovely moment to pause and check in with your animals — to see how they’re feeling and what they might need as we head into winter.

I get asked quite often what the difference is between my Quick Question Sessions (£25) and Full Photo Readings (£75), so here’s a little rundown:

Quick Question Sessions
Perfect for a gentle check-in or if there’s just one thing you’d like to ask.
I connect briefly with your animal, do a little bit of healing, and send you a short update on what came through and anything that might help support them.

Full Photo Readings
These go much deeper. I spend longer connecting with your animal to explore what’s happening emotionally, physically, or behaviourally. You’ll receive a detailed written reading with messages from your animal, healing, and practical guidance for moving forward.

Both are lovely ways to make sure your animal feels heard and supported — it just depends on what you need right now.

I’m running my next Level 1 Animal Healing and Communication Course on 11th and 12th July and it’s always one of my favourite spaces to hold

This isn’t about doing anything complicated or getting it perfect It’s about learning how to slow down tune in and build a deeper more trusting connection with animals

Over the two days we gently explore the foundations of both healing and communication

I recently had a lovely check-in session with Roscoe

His guardian booked one of my Quick Question Sessions because she just wanted to see how he was doing and if there was anything she could do to help support him.

She was worried he may be in pain.

Over the past year they’ve both been through so much together. Changes, loss and emotional upheaval. As many of you know, our animals don’t just witness what we go through, they often carry it with us.

Roscoe felt like one of those animals.
The kind who quietly takes on the emotional weight of the home. The kind who stays strong because he feels he has to.

During the session I was able to connect with him, send some healing and help lift some of what he had been holding onto.

Sometimes these little check-ins can bring so much reassurance.

Not every animal needs a full session.

Sometimes guardians simply want to know:
✨ How are they feeling?
✨ Are they comfortable?
✨ Is there anything they need?
✨ Are they carrying emotional stress?

That’s exactly why I created my Quick Question Sessions.

My vision has always been simple… to give animals a voice.

I truly believe animals have so much to say if we slow down and really listen. They have feelings, emotions, worries, wisdom and so much love to share.

Through animal healing and communication, I help animals feel heard and understood while also helping their guardians understand them on a deeper level.

There is nothing more special than watching that bond grow… when a guardian finally understands why their animal has been behaving a certain way, what they are feeling, or what they need.

The more we listen, the deeper the connection becomes.

My hope is to help create a world where animals are not just loved, but truly heard too

Sometimes it’s the little check-ins that make the biggest difference

Sometimes guardians notice a small change in behaviour.

Sometimes their animal feels unsettled.

And sometimes they simply want to know how they’re feeling or if there’s anything they need.

These sessions can bring comfort, clarity, and peace of mind.

One thing I see a lot in my work… animals often know when it’s time.

It’s something I support animals and their guardians through quite often, and it’s never easy.

No one wants their animal to suffer.

But letting them go can feel just as hard.

What I notice is that animals will often start to show little signs they’re getting ready.

Sometimes they withdraw a bit, sometimes they go quieter… sometimes they just feel different.
There’s often a kind of acceptance there.

A knowing.

They don’t seem to carry the same fear around it that we do.

That doesn’t make it any easier for us though.
If anything, it can make it feel even more emotional.

But there’s also something really important in that time…

being with them, properly being with them, and listening to what they need.

It’s one of the hardest parts of loving them.
But also one of the most important.

Today is National Rescue Dog Day

Bimble was a rescue… and many of you know her story.

But if I’m really honest, I don’t think it was ever one-sided.

Yes, I gave her a home, safety, and a life she deserved.

But she gave me just as much back… if not more.
The way she’s helped me slow down, stay present, and see things differently you can’t put that into words.

I truly believe some animals come into our lives at exactly the right time.

Not just because they need us… but because we need them too.

So today feels like a reminder rescue isn’t always what it seems on the surface.
