We’re now offering free home dental consultations across the Forth Valley area 🏡🦷

For patients who are unable to attend the practice due to illness, disability or reduced mobility, our team can visit you at home.

We can provide:
✔️ Dental examinations
✔️ Denture assessments/stages
✔️ Pain relief advice & antibiotics if appropriate
✔️ Referral support for patients needing specialist care pathways or additional support such as hoist access/community dental services

Please note. Not all dental treatments can be carried out at home, but our dentists can assess and refer patients to the most appropriate service if needed.

We are pleased to offer dedicated domiciliary dental appointments for our registered patients across the Forth Valley area.

One of our Associate Dentists will be available one full day each week for:

* Care Home Visits
* House Visits
* Patients with limited mobility
* Patients unable to attend the practice

Our aim is to ensure patients can continue to access high-quality dental care in the comfort of their own home or care setting.

Please note that not all treatments may be suitable or possible within a home or care home setting. This will be discussed and explained fully during the initial consultation

Surgery 1 refurbishment complete

We’ve upgraded our dental chair with a new upholstered finish, thanks to Fanatikool Furnishings

The updated chair now fits in with the practice’s colour scheme and offers improved comfort for our patients.

We’re looking forward to welcoming both new and returning patients back to Alva for many years to come.

We’re recruiting a Trainee / Part-Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly practice in a supportive, collaborative environment with all training included.

✨ What you’ll be doing:

• Chairside assistance and supporting clinicians
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials
• Infection control and maintaining high clinical standards
• Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for
• Learning on the job with guidance and mentoring
