The Retreat Day

From the sea, to the skin, to stillness. 🌊

For our September retreat, I wanted my part of the day to reflect something I’ve always been drawn to — the sea, restorative touch and the power of simply slowing down.

I’ll be offering each guest an individual Restorative Touch ritual, combining slow, intentional touch with breath, stillness and beautiful organic Irish seaweed from VOYA.

Alongside the treatments, you’ll be free to explore our self-guided wellness rituals, wander, pause, rest — and experience the day entirely at your own pace.

No rushing. No pressure to do everything.

Just space to soften, exhale and quietly return to yourself. 🤍

Something is changing at The Secret Spa…

After almost 28 years of welcoming you through our doors, it feels like the right time for our spa experiences to evolve.

Life has changed. We have changed.

And increasingly, I feel that what so many of us really need isn’t an entire day filled with plans.

We need permission to stop.

Time to breathe.
Time to be looked after.
Time for therapeutic touch.
Time to rest.

So we’re beginning to move away from the traditional idea of the spa package and towards something that feels much more like us now…

Restorative Experiences.

Beautifully considered pockets of time combining spa, treatment and rest — from a little escape when you only have a couple of hours, to slow mornings and unhurried afternoons when you need something more.

There’ll still be time to enjoy our pool, sauna, steam and relaxation spaces. There’ll still be beautiful treatments and something light to eat or drink.

But less timetable. Less rushing from one thing to another.

More space simply to be.

Over the next few days, I’ll be introducing our new collection one by one.

And I think you’re going to love what we’ve created. 🤍

A journey back to yourself.

This isn’t a day of rushing from one activity to the next.

Our retreat has been intentionally created to feel free-flowing and unhurried — giving you the freedom to experience the day in your own way.

You are welcome to dip in and out of any of the activities. Join what feels right, linger somewhere you love, or simply find a quiet space and rest. There is no pressure to participate in everything.

Throughout the day you can experience:

🐴 Connection with horses & nature with Holly

🤍 Individual Restorative Touch with Sarah — slow, intentional touch, breath, stillness and beautiful VOYA seaweed rituals

🌾 Barefoot grounding, mindful meadow walks & quiet reflection
