Just enjoying my last days of holiday before returning to work tomorrow. I set an intention at the start of my morning walk that I wanted to find a face stone (have you ever seen stones with faces in them? They are so much fun). This time I found a special hag stone, shaped like a heart. 💗
A hag stone is a stone with a hole worn naturally through it by water over time. In folklore they’re seen as protective, a guardian against negative energy and the hole is said to grant “second sight,” letting you see what’s usually hidden: intuition, hidden truths, and the unseen, from fairies to spirits. The heart shape makes this one feel even more special.💗
It always makes me wonder how old these stones are. How much they’ve weathered and transformed. A reminder of patience, of staying grounded, and of all the memories the earth quietly carries.🌀
