🎩✨ Lord Harri UP-CLOSE MAGIC ~Army veteran turned incredible magician, performing amongst you throughout the evening. Prepare to be amazed!

💜 Powerful guest speakers opening up honest, important conversations around mental health, su***de prevention and the realities people can face, reminding us exactly why this evening matters.

🌻 And amongst all the celebration, we'll make space to remember those we love. Our Remembrance Table will invite you to leave a name or message, followed by a minute's silence together.

Because “I feel relaxed afterwards” is one thing…

The research is still emerging, but some of the findings genuinely surprised me.

Right Track Wellbeing | Riding The Trauma Train

We’re so pleased to welcome Lydia Davis as one of our guest speakers at the Su***de Prevention Charity Ball. 🌻

Lydia is the founder of Right Track Wellbeing and host of the Riding The Trauma Train podcast. Drawing on her own lived experience of childhood trauma, she speaks openly about mental health, healing and the fact that what we have been through does not have to define where we go next.

On the night, Lydia will be talking about the invisible signs we carry, the labels, beliefs and struggles that can sit beneath the surface, even when somebody looks completely okay from the outside.

And that feels particularly important when we're talking about su***de prevention.

Because we don't always know who is struggling. We don't always see what's happening behind the smile, the job, the family or the person who appears to have everything together.

Sometimes connection really can make more difference than we realise. 💜

💜 MEET OUR SPEAKER ~ ROME 🩵

We’re incredibly honoured to have currently serving LCpl Rome “Steads” Wilkinson joining us as a speaker at our Su***de Prevention Charity Ball.

Rome will be sharing his own journey through the Army, his experiences with mental health, and something incredibly personal, the impact of losing someone close to him to su***de.

The photograph beside him is a reminder of exactly why conversations like this matter.

Men’s mental health, particularly within the military community, is something we simply cannot afford to stay quiet about. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is speak. Sometimes it’s asking someone twice if they’re really okay. And sometimes it’s simply letting somebody know they don’t have to carry it alone.

Thank you, Rome, for being willing to stand up and share your story. 💜🩵

🌻 MEET OUR CATERER — WILD GINGER 🌻

We are SO excited to introduce the lovely Ellie from Wild Ginger, who will be creating the food for our Su***de Prevention Charity Ball. 💜🩵

Ellie is local, incredibly passionate about food, and when she heard what we were raising money for, she wanted to help. Su***de prevention is a cause close to her heart, and she has very kindly offered us an incredibly special rate for the evening, helping us keep our costs down and ultimately raise even more for Salisbury Samaritans. 🥹❤️

And honestly... the food sounds AMAZING.

Think Char Sui pork & sesame sausage rolls, Spanish paprika chicken skewers, Caprese skewers, mini cheddar & caramelised onion tarts, three different bruschettas... followed by brownie bites and raspberry cheesecake blondies. 🤤

Ellie brings a huge amount of creativity to what she does, having trained in advanced chef skills at Leiths School of Food and W**e, alongside years of working with talented chefs and running a successful street-food trailer.

We are so grateful to have another brilliant local business getting behind this night and this cause.

Thank you Ellie ~ we can't wait for everyone to try it! 🌻💜🩵

Things nobody tells you about running a wellbeing business.

People see the candles, the crystal bowls, the peaceful photos and the deeply relaxed faces at the end.

What they don't see is the car packed to the roof, the hours of planning, the endless washing of blankets, the marketing, the risk of putting on events that may or may not fill, and the occasional panic when only three tickets have sold and the event is next week.
Running a wellbeing business isn't all meditation and herbal tea.

It's spreadsheets, insurance, risk assessments, venue hire, social media, emails, carrying heavy equipment, setting alarms at silly o'clock and somehow remembering where you've left the charging cable for the speaker.

But then somebody leaves saying,
"That's the first time I've felt calm in months."

And suddenly every bit of the hard work feels worth it.
If you run a small business, what's something nobody tells people about what happens behind the scenes? ❤️
