Being pierced with a longer bar initially is so important! The first couple of days after having your piercing your expected to swell, so having a longer bar reduces the risk of embedding and allows space for inflammation💛

It is also even more important to come back in after 4-6 weeks for your downsize, to have a bar a little more snug for the rest of the healing, reducing the chance of movement, which minimises irritation, prevents snagging and encourages straighter healing, sticking with a longer bar is more likely to shift and sit at an angle!🫠
