We are finishing the week with a reminder of the importance of slowing down and reconnecting with nature 🍃

Spending time outdoors, noticing the world around use and taking a mindful moment for ourselves can have a positive impact on both our mental and physical wellbeing.

We hope some of this week's posts have encouraged you to pause, reflect, and try a few small actions to support your wellbeing, because even the smallest steps matter.

When our thoughts feel overwhelming, it can be difficult to switch off or find a sense of calm. Leaves on a Stream is a simple mindfulness exercise designed to help you gently let go of unhelpful thoughts and feel more grounded.

Taking even a few quiet minutes to practice this exercise can have a positive impact on your wellbeing, allowing you to pause and reset.

We had some lovely weather for today's March for Mothers walk as part of Maternal Mental Health Week 🌞🌸

It was wonderful to bring together local services and mums from the community for a sunny walk to discuss mental health, the support available locally and to create opportunities for connection and peer support.

A huge thank you to:

Sport in Mind for initiating the campaign
Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health for leading the walk
Andover Parish for providing space and refreshments afterwards

It was great to see organisations working together to support parents and reduce isolation within our community.

🌸Marching for Mothers 🌸

Join us on Wednesday 6th May at 10:15am at St Mary's Church garden area for a relaxed and welcoming walk in partnership with Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health, Sport in Mind and The Lighthouse Andover.

If you are a new mum, pregnant, a parent, support someone who is, or beyond, this space is for you. No pressure, no expectations, just conversation, fresh air and people who get it.

Together, we are breaking the silence around maternal mental health, one step at a time.
