Buzzybees Home Support provides a wide range of support services enabling the elderly and those with a disability remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. After five years as co owner of an awarding winning home support business the time was right to 'go it alone'. Action saves lives!

Hand washing is one of the most effective ways of preventing the spread of infection

Simple Steps for Proper Hand Washing

Wet: Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold).
Soap: Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
Scrub: Rub hands palm to palm, then scrub the backs of hands, between fingers, and under fingernails for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse: Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
Dry: Dry your hands thoroughly using a clean towel or air dryer.

Ive not posted in an age because we have been so busy. We now have 10 support workers in the team and I am so proud each time I meet new service users and they tell me we come highly recommended. Its coming up to that time of year when families get together and often notice their loved one is in need of help.January is always a busy time for new referrals.
Heres a message just in from one of our lovely support workers which really highlights just what a wonderful job they do for our service users - in this case a 93 year old.

'They didnt have much food in so I popped to Lidls. They now have chicken casserole in slow cooker for today and tomorrow. Chicken curry for 2 days cooked and in freezer ( both with fresh veg in) 2 ready meals in fridge and 2 ready meals in freezer..they couldn't believe I spent less than £15 . Said can do the same whenever its needed..'

Today someone somewhere in the UK will be given the gift of a better life thanks to the superwoman that is Debs Askew who is donating a kidney. Such a brave and noble thing to do but thats our Debs! Its a lengthy process, lots of tests and consultations over many months.
Wishing Debs a speedy recovery and we look forward to welcoming her back to the Buzzybees team soon.

If you or a loved one dont require personal care Buzzybees Home Support is your go to cost effective solution!

One of the benefits of having a small close knit team is that we really get to know our service users. Potentially life threatening conditions are spotted and acted upon quickly. As an example yesterday a swollen leg was noted and acted upon. A DVT was found and medication prescribed. Thanks to your vigilance Babs McGlashan x I will never stop singing our teams praises.

We have recently sent out a Quality Assurance questionnaire to all our service users and although they are not all back yet the response so far has been amazing! Thanks to our wonderful support workers it appears with Buzzybees Home Support satifaction is guaranteed.

Just to clarify (due to crossed wires) it wasnt Danebury Ring but a popular walking area the other side of Stockbridge, up Winton Hill. No valuables were on display, the ladies handbag was in the boot out of sight. The sh*ts smashed the rear screen and damaged the tail gate in order to get in.

WARNING. One of our lovely support workers has just had her rear windscreen smashed and her bag stolen whilst out walking with a service user at Danebury Ring. No one deserves this let alone a honest hardworking person simply doing her job!
