We are having computer network issues this morning. We cannot access any of our diaries or your notes. We are waiting on our IT department resolving the issue. As a result, your wait in our call queue may be longer than normal. If you are expecting a call this morning, please be aware that it may be later than advised. eConsults are available again, as we were able to get hold of someone at the company. This was an issue affecting all of the practices in Dumfries and Galloway, as an incorrect holiday profile had been applied. Thank you for your patience.

eConsult is not working today and they are closed so it is unlikely to be sorted until tomorrow. Our phone lines are open as usual if you need to contact us.

Why is your GP practice closed this afternoon?

It is to enable practices to have dedicated Protected Learning Time for important training, keeping our teams up-to-date and working together to improve our services to our patients.

If your medical issue is urgent and cannot wait until we reopen, please call 01387 241033. Similar to the regular Out of Hours Service, you will be able to speak to a medical professional who will be able to assess your need and provide an appropriate level of care.

We’ll be back open tomorrow to support you as always.

The practice will be closed on Tuesday 12th May from 1pm for Protected Learning Time. We will re-open on Wednesday 13th May at 8am as usual. If you need medical attention that cannot wait until then, please call 01387241033. These sessions are mandated by the Health Board and provide a training opportunity for our whole team.
