Many medical practices will be closed on Monday 5 October for the local Bank Holiday.

Some community pharmacies and the Walk-In Service (Urgent Care) at Randolph Wemyss Memorial Hospital will also be closed.

The top of the road at Elie surgery is closed due to roadworks from 07/09 to 09/09, however the cones will be moved to allow access to and from the surgery.

The Practices will be closed from 12noon on Wednesday 9th of September for staff training. For any urgent enquires, please complete an eConsult before 12 noon. The eConsult system will reopen at 6am on Thursday 10th of September as normal.

Medical Receptionist (17 to 25.5 hours per week worked over two to three days)

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at Coast Health.

We are a busy GP surgery based in the East Neuk towns of Pittenweem and Elie. As part of the administration team you will provide a valued contribution to the care of our practice population.

Duties mainly include answering busy telephone lines, arranging patient appointments and follow ups, managing repeat prescriptions, electronic document filings, and general office/administration tasks.

As first point of contact for the Practice you must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the public. A pleasant manner and proven customer service experience are essential.

Previous experience of working in Primary Care is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Cleaner Required

We require a cleaner for our Elie Surgery. Hours of working are 5 per week over 5 days. Working times are flexible but will be in the evenings or weekends when the surgery is closed.

Applicants must be reliable and have a proactive approach to cleaning to ensure that the hygiene standards of a medical practice are met. Training and guidance will be given.

Applications are welcome from individuals or local cleaning companies.

Some GP practices are taking part in a Protected Learning Time session on Thursday 25 June between 1pm and 6pm.

Practices take part in a number of sessions throughout the year to allow staff to access training. During this time:
