Sending lots of love today to my Mum, who I miss dearly every day.

Also sending comfort to all the children who may be missing their Mums today, all the Mum's who may be missing their children, and everyone who has complicated feelings about Mother's day for a variety of reasons. Not all families are easy, not all people who want to be parent's get that opportunity, so I'm sending love to everyone who might need it today. ###

Morning lovelies!

I took a much needed day off yesterday, and Shaun and I headed into Mapperley for a wander around the charity shops, and lunch out. I love a little bimble - my biggest self care hobby is arts and crafts, and charity shops are great for finding random things to include in mixed media art.

I'm so grateful for the ability to find joy in small pleasures, it boosts my mood and when I pick up a paint brush, needle or glue I find myself transported to a wonderful mindful state.

Happy Sunday all!

I've got one of those brains that is always switched on with a thousand (mostly useless!) thoughts fighting for attention. Maybe you can relate to that overwhelming feeling?

I've never been able to clear my mind, however what I do enjoy is guiding my brain in the direction I want it to go. If you're similar, try closing your eyes for 5 minutes, and mentally checking in with each part of your body - start with the top of your head, your brow, your ears, moving slowly down until you reach your toes.

You might even want to relax any part of the body where tension may appear - releasing your jaw, easing the muscles around your neck, rolling your shoulders. That five minutes might be the best 5 you experience today! ❤️

Happy New Year everyone!

2025 was so incredibly busy for me - juggling a very demanding full time job with my other responsibilities was a challenge, and sadly I had very little time to devote to my business outside of working with my lovely clients, and the pro bono I like to do. That's been the case for a couple of years now, so I have neglected my little corner of the Internet! I'm planning on addressing that this year - let's see how I get on! ;)

Fears and phobia's are some of my favourite issues to help you kick to the curb - be it a common concern, like the client who used to run away from spiders who can now catch and release them calmly, or something less common, like the client who was frightened of fruit and veg who was able to happily munch on carrots at the end of our session 🥕

I've got a very open mind and have heard it all by now, so if you have a fear or phobia holding you back, I can help!

I saw an interesting sign outside a local dentists this morning - "Nervous about seeing a dentist? We offer sedation". That is certainly one option, but removing those nerves is a better way to go! If you want to know how I can help you do that, get in touch. 😁
