Where did your running journey start? Or are you wondering whether you could start running???

People assume I've been running for ever but this photo shows the start of my running journey! Running windsorwomens10k 12 yrs ago was such an amazing milestone after starting running 3 mths before.

That day I discovered the buzz of reaching a goal and it's had its ups and downs but I can honestly say running changed my life! Now I love sharing my passion and knowledge with the women' I train and support!!

I would love to hear where your journey began? Or maybe it's just beginning??

A piece of homemade apple cake versus an apple muffin from Costa!!

I don't restrict my diet but I aim to eat as little processed foods as possible, this apple cake has none of the nasties like trans fat and also eaten with a few extra hazelnuts stops a sugar high and enables me to control my blood sugar πŸ˜‹

Love trying different sweet treat ideas, would love to hear if you are going to give it a try!!

3 x Apple (peeled, cubed and stewed in 50 mls water with 1 tsp cinnamon, then mashed
Add this to
200g coconut sugar,
250g almond flour
6 eggs
1 tsp baking powder

Baked for 30 mins in a 10in cake tin!
