A Growth in my inner ear.
I've had many messages asking why no updates, what have we been up to and when are we starting to run the air rifle competitions.
I'm rather anxious at the moment, I'm waiting on CT results which I get this Friday.
Rewind a few YEARS, I had several visits to the doctors.... dizziness, headaches, motion sickness and instead of finding out why, I was prescribed anti histamine tablets.
Last August I went to get my ear cleaned, thought that might help. The lady saw something in my inner ear and told me I needed to see ENT urgently.
I booked a doctors appointment who told me she thought it was a tiny spot but would send me for an hearing test.
September, I had the hearing test, she said there was something in my inner ear that needed looking at by ENT and that they would write to my doctors to get them to refer me.
November, still no referral, so I called the doctors. Ooo, that's why I haven't had an appointment, you didn't do the referral, ooo thanks for that 🙈
Anyway, April i finally saw ENT, who confirmed i have a growth in my inner ear, and my eardrum is in tact, which means, that they believe i was born with it, they also believe it to be benign, however it can be destructive depending on where it has grown and attached too, it kind of eats the bones. Either way Fred (Fred in my head, I named him lol, sounds better than growth) has got to be removed.
Anyway, fingers crossed for Friday morning 🤞🤞🙏🙏
