primary school today the children explored all things bees. They looked at honeycomb, bee larvae, queen bee larvae. Using flowers and charcoal they made bee pictures. Created bees from pine cones and the ks2 boys used the bowsaw and drill to make their wood cookie bees. 🐝 Liz also got the mud kitchen up and running; adding hooks to hang the pans on and added some pots and pans etc. 🧑‍🍳🍳 Lots of fun was had by all 💛

Tomorrow’s Little Leaves session is all about bees 🐝🐝 we will be using the tools to make our own wooden bees, exploring the honeycomb activity and having some yummy pancakes and honey at snack time, as well as lots of other Forest School activities 🐝💚
