From today, children and pregnant women can get their flu vaccinations ahead of winter.

Children aged 2 and 3 can get vaccinated at their GP surgery, while most school-aged children will be offered the vaccine at school.

Pregnant women can speak to their maternity team, GP practice or community pharmacy about getting vaccinated.

Get ready for Winter! We know it feels a bit early, but bookings for our Winter Vaccinations are now open - with appointments from September or October. 💉

NHS Flu & COVID Vaccinations are available to book now! You may be eligible for a Flu Jab if aged 65 or over, or with eligible medical conditions. For COVID Vaccination, you can get one if aged 75 or over, or if you're immunosuppressed. These are available from 1st October.

We're also offering Private COVID & Flu Vaccinations, also available to book now with appointments from September! Just visit our website, or give us a call to get booked in. We look forward to taking care of you. 🩵💙

📢 Booking opens 13th July! Current Year 13 students and under-25s starting university or a residential further education programme can book their NHS MenB vaccine from 13th July.

Vaccinations will be available with us from 20th July. Book online via the NHS website, or visit our webpage for more information. 💉

If you're immunosuppressed, you might be eligible for a free NHS Booster COVID-19 Vaccination from our local pharmacy in the heart of Ashington. Call us to check today. 💙

This might include you if you've ever had a transplant, are taking long-term systemic steroids for over 1 month, you're living with HIV, if you're receiving immunosuppression, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy, if you have a history of haematological cancer, or if you have a genetic disorder affecting your immune system. 🧬

Those aged 75 or over, and those who live in an older adult care home, can also get vaccinated this Spring.
