🪳Headlice 🪳

The full life cycle of headlice (often referred to as 'nits') takes between 3-4 weeks.

This is why it is so important that wet combing your child's hair is done on a regular basis to ensure all new eggs and lice are removed.

‼️ DURING AN INFESTATION, WET COMBING SHOULD BE DONE ON A DAILY BASIS!

▪️Female adult lice can produce between 6-10 eggs every DAY!

▪️Adult lice can live for around 30 days

▪️Eggs are laid on strands of hair close to the scalp and then cycle begins all over again

▪️Wet combing is vital and further treatments can be sought from your local pharmacy
