Many people don’t realise that laser practitioners are not legally required to hold a Level 4 qualification. In fact, anyone can purchase laser equipment! Even without in-depth training or clinical knowledge. This is where risks and hazards can arise if treatments aren’t carried out correctly.

At Totology, I believe the real difference lies in depth of knowledge, experience, and understanding of the skin, not just owning a machine.

Proper training means knowing how to assess skin types, manage settings safely, recognise contraindications, and respond appropriately if something doesn’t look right.

What an incredible year it’s been for my small business🤍

Started from nothing, not a single client or piece of equipment.. just a dream and a personal passion to change the laser hair removal game and to help those with excessive facial hair.

This year I gained my masters degree in midwifery, but it’s not that degree that has brought me so much success.

I’ve bagged myself my level 4 in laser hair removal and IPL. I secured a clinic to work from, grew my small business and met so many of you wonderful lot.

Within 3 months I was able to purchase my own machine outright with upgraded technology and new features all thanks to you lovely lot that chose to support me so early on…

When starting in business, there was 1 warning that was repeated by everyone. “You’ll make a loss in your first year don’t worry”

Proud to say I’m thriving and grateful… there’s no loss here👏🏼
