Unfortunately one of our regular therapist has had to cancellation her place on our Holistic Therapy Taster Day, Saturday 25th April due to a knee injury

So we’re looking for another therapist to join our merry band and take her place, must be reliable, have a business in or around the Wigan area, be fully qualified,have valid holistic therapy insurance and preferable be qualified in 3 of the therapies on offer on the day, (though we may consider 2)

All therapies are charged at £12 each ( potential for 11 appointments) and you receive payment directly from the client. A small booking fee is required for your therapy space, this is a popular event and we’re usually fully booked in advance

A question I am asked often by new clients is.

How many Reiki sessions do I need?

I used to reply that ' one session could be enough but book as many as you think you need'

With experience and added knowledge, I now explain as follows....
When care is reactive, the body stays defensive. When care is consistent, the body learns how to relax and change.

Take from the book The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk... It explains the concept that our bodies retain the impact of trauma through chronic stress responses, and that true healing requires restoring a sense of physical safety.
