We are still on home leave from the hospital which is amazing. Took the opportunity today to get out and about in the sunshine.

The little Miss is still in hospital, we are fighting fluid again on her chest whilst also trying to make sure her kidneys are not too impacted by all the additional diuretics. Lots of blood tests to make sure everything is ok, had a few X-rays and ultrasounds too.

We have managed to keep the NG tube out with trying different ways to get sodium into her.

She’s such an absolute trooper and wakes everyday with a smile 😊

The constant in and out, back and forth is really talking its toll on Flo and both of us.

A huge thank you to Kirsty and the Team Kibworth Books for Florence’s amazing parcel. We had wanted to attend the Usbourne Sticker day, but couldn’t make it safe for Florence so they sent her this lovely package and we have already started the Dog and Puppy book.

Florence is home!

After nearly 13 weeks we have our little lady home.
She’s come home on oxygen and even more medication in order to keep her relatively stable whilst we focus on getting weight back on her and desensitising her to hospital life.

It means life is a bit more complicated, but we’re so happy to have her home.

It’s going to take a while for her sparkle to return, as her personality / fear / trust has taken massive battering as she’s been so much more aware this time, but we hope time will be a healer.
