**Beat the Menopausal Madness Retreat**
NB: This is NOT an online event
Come and join us for a weekend exploring all aspects of perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause, an absolute must for all women.
This retreat will be full of education, understanding, myth busting, wellbeing, and of course sharing experiences, fun and laughter!
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is something that happens to old ladies! Even in our thirties, our bodies are moving towards perimenopause: do you know how this affects your bone health, heart health, brain health?
Learn about what it is, how it happens, when it happens, how it can impact you, what signs should you look out for, and ultimately, how you can support yourself through this change in our lives to get the best out of our bodies, mind, and spirit.
We will cover:
How might it affect me?
HRT, what is it? Types, options, risks, and benefits
Diet and lifestyle
Therapies to combat stress, anxiety, poor sleep, flushes and more.
This isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of a new chapter where you can be knowledgeable, informed and empowered.
Over the course of the weekend we will meditate, go for a woodland walk, use a range of tools and techniques to manage anxiety & stress incorporating Hypnotherapy, Havening, EFT & EMDR, and take part in a yoga session.

This sparked a passion to help educate women and men on this chapter in their lives. She has undertaken specialist training to be able to help support women to naturally take control of some of the debilitating symptoms and has had her trials and results published in Menopause Matters Magazine.

Alison has also trained in using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) with hypnotherapy, which is very helpful in treating PTSD and severe anxiety states.
