Do you ever miss doing things just because you fancied doing them?
Not because someone needs you to. Not because there's another job to tick off the list. Just because something looks lovely and you think, "Ooh, I'd quite like to have a go at that."
I sometimes think we've forgotten how nice it is to do something for no other reason than enjoying ourselves.
To wander into a little shop, discover something different, get chatting to someone new, have a proper cuppa and forget about the rest of the world for half an hour.
And that's exactly the sort of place I've been trying to create here at Love Ria.
Somewhere you don't have to rush. Where you can be a little bit curious, try something creative, discover beautiful scents and perhaps meet a few lovely people along the way.
So I've decided to invite you in for a little treat, completely on us.
It's called A Welcome Interlude and the beginning of something incredibly special which is coming your way.
We'll welcome just six people at a time around our lovely big table, pop the kettle on and spend a little while decorating our own wooden diffusers.You don't need to be arty. You don't need to know anyone. And you certainly don't need to make anything perfect.
Just come along, have a cuppa, a little natter and enjoy making something lovely.
Then you will have a little wander around our shop, where you can have a good sniff of all our fragrances, discover the scents you're drawn to and choose your favourite for us to add to your diffuser.
And of course, you get to take your little creation home.
It's completely free. No catch, no obligation to buy anything.
I know walking into somewhere new can sometimes feel a bit daunting, especially if you're coming on your own, but I promise you don't need to bring anyone to belong around our table.
Come with a friend, bring a couple of friends, or come along on your own and see who you meet.
Whatever you choose, it will be just as lovely.
We've created Love Ria to be more than somewhere you come to buy a candle. I want it to be somewhere you actually look forward to visiting. A place to make things, discover things, meet people and perhaps find a little bit of that spark we sometimes lose in the busyness of everyday life.
And I'd really love you to be part of it.
