Oh my how busy we have been behind the scenes this year...I am just so grateful

Hello! I just wanted to let you know about this Thursday evening which is Millers Farm Shop annual Christmas shopping evening and is always a really lovely atmosphere (free parking, free Santa, stalls and more)

Over at Ria's Scent Lab we will be offering a FREE Christmas scent session... suitable for all the family (kids do need an adult with them and a space booked for each person) and you will go away with a FREE custom Christmas scented car diffuser. We will also have some little wooden decorations so you can add a Christmas wish to our rather large outside Christmas tree ...

We will also have some free Gingerbread House or Chocolate Macaroon wax melt samples to give away to anyone that pops into the shop while stocks last :)

I was planning on posting each day this week with some of the highlights over the past 3 years of having the shop but here we are .. nearly end of Wednesday and haven't posted.. nothing new there then! Customers often ask me 'Ohh are you on Insta?' and I reply 'Yes indeed I have an account but not much happens there as I am busy here in the shop talking to incredible people in real life'

But each week I kick myself that I haven't documented things as the change this year has been incredible.. we have transformed everything little by little and I wish I had some sort of documentation to show (for me more than anything) how things evolved.. and also to show those who are setting out on following their dreams that it simply isn't a straight line.. in fact I am not sure it is much of a line at all and more of a manic scribble in my case 😉

Anyway my intention was to share some of the things which really made my stop and say 'wow' and one of those is when I had an email from Australia when a customer who visited Millers Farm Shop while on holiday found our little shop and when she got home in Australia she was so addicted to our 'Arabian Princess' fragrance that she paid a lot of postage to have me ship a years supply out to her.

I mean if that doesn't show just how powerful a scent can be then I don't know what does.. that someone would ship it half way around the world because the scent made her feel a certain way ... in a way that no other scent in the whole of Australia could make her feel.

And that just made me stop in awe.... in awe of how small intentions can travel half way around the world without you having to be there yourself.. how captivating scent truly is and how incredible and loyal our customers are.

So that is one of the memories I am reflecting on today.. I hope to share another tomorrow but hey.. I am me and that means that social media comes at the bottom of a very long 'to do list' which is full of exciting incredible things to do in real life 😉
