🌿 September 2026 Referrals Now Open 🌿
Alternative Provision at Pathway Ponies
We are now accepting referrals for young people in Years 8–11 (ages 13–16) who are finding mainstream education difficult to access and would benefit from a smaller, nurturing learning environment.
Our bespoke Alternative Provision combines meaningful education with equine-assisted learning and wellbeing to help young people re-engage with learning, develop confidence and build positive futures.
Our programme includes:
🐴 Equine-Assisted Learning Activities
📚 ASDAN Short Courses in Maths, English and Animal Care
🌱 ASDAN Life Skills Challenges
💚 Wellbeing and personal development activities
🤝 Small group provision with a personalised, relationship-based approach
We work alongside schools, families and professionals to support young people experiencing challenges such as:
• Emotionally based school non-attendance (EBSNA)
• Anxiety and low confidence
• SEMH needs
• Autism and neurodiversity
• Difficulties engaging within mainstream education
• Risk of suspension, exclusion or disengagement
Referrals are welcomed from:
✔ Schools
✔ Local Authorities
✔ EOTAS teams
✔ Private families
Whether you're looking for part-time Alternative Provision to complement a school placement or an EOTAS package, we'd be happy to discuss how we can support a young person.
📍 Based in a calm rural setting in Wendover, Buckinghamshire with our miniature Shetland ponies.
📅 Limited September places available.
