Pressure injury is one of the most common and preventable complications after spinal cord injury — but around the world, cases are rising and outcomes are becoming more severe.
At ISCoS 2026, a special workshop on 8 October at 1:30pm will explore how early skin damage can escalate into infection, sepsis, and even death… and what clinicians, carers, and people with SCI can do to stop that spiral.
Through real‑life cases, live audience polling, and practical strategies that work in every healthcare setting, five presenters — Dr Martin Donhauser, Dr Belgin Erhan, Dr Aram Fard, Mrs Kamrunnaher Koly, and Dr Priya Iyer — will share evidence‑based approaches to prevention and treatment.
This session is ideal for health professionals, researchers, wound‑care teams, people with SCI, and carers who want to strengthen prevention and improve outcomes.
Join ISCoS 2026 and help turn the tide on pressure injury.
