Richard Osman is back with a brand-new mystery! Amy, Rosie and Steve return for their first proper case when a body is discovered outside a beautiful Italian villa, accompanied by a threatening note from a mysterious killer.

This week is Remember A Charity Week, a chance to think about the people and causes that matter to us and how we’d like to look after them in the future 💙

Making a Will is an important part of that.

It ensures your wishes are known and gives you the opportunity, if you choose, to leave a gift to a charity that means something to you. But knowing where to start can sometimes feel daunting.

That’s why we’ve partnered with legal experts Squiggle Consult hold a free Will-writing webinar tomorrow, Thursday 10th September at 3pm on Zoom.

They’ll talk you through:
✍️ Why having a Will is important
✍️ When you need one
✍️ How to update an existing Will
✍️ The key things to consider when making your Will

The webinar is free and open to Calibre Audio members based in the UK. Spaces are limited so please register in advance.

Squiggle Consult can also provide a free Will to anyone who books an appointment.

Do audiobooks count as reading?

We might be biased, but... YES! 🎧

Reading isn’t defined by how you access a story. If you turn the pages, read on a screen or listen to an audiobook, you’re still discovering new worlds, meeting new characters, learning new things and enjoying the magic of books.

For many people, audiobooks aren’t simply another way to read – they’re THE way they read.

This International Literacy Day we’re celebrating every kind of reader and every way of reading 💙

"I played back certain chapters over and over again as I was so affected and moved by this extraordinary memoir of Chloe's relationship with this beautiful wild animal, how much she learnt and was changed by the experience.

It is a book which will stay in my memory for a long time - in fact always."

Margaret, talking about the fantastic Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton, narrated by Louise Brealey.
