Our Ayrshire coast resplendent in this weather ☀️.. a lovely visit to the gorgeous walled garden last week to see the herbaceous border, orchard and fabulous wildflowers! Beautiful inspiration 🥰🐝🌸☀️💚🌱 🍎 🍏. It was great to see the orchard with paths mown through the grass .. easy osey .. I’ve done the same with a garden in Troon where there was a large lawn on a ‘feed, mow, repeat’ regime the client has been happy to try out a mini orchard with 6 fruit trees and letting the grass grow in swathes. It’s bearing fruit 🍎 🐝 🪰 🐛😊. Updates to follow. Have a lovely weekend 💚

Thank you so much to all my clients and those waiting to be contacted for your patience. I have taken some time after a bereavement and now back into the gardens. Appreciating new beginnings and watching the cycle of life continue its merry dance. Full of gratitude for all the kindness 💚☀️🌸🐝 🪰 🙏

Pots planted late autumn last year ready for Easter weekend! My client called to say thank you for the colour in his pots and his garden. 💚☀️🌸You can achieve interest using shrubs and herbaceous perennials in pots as well as using seasonal plants. Foliage can create a lovely impact just as flowers, so you don’t need to be restricted by ‘seasonal plants’.

This new gravel garden was planted in September last year and features several lovely 😍.. I am very much looking forward to seeing it grow into a joyous and colourful space this year 💚🌱☀️for my clients to enjoy. It also features two pergolas ( space for morning sun and one for evening sun 🤩) and several raised beds for veg and fruit. Photos to follow in the coming months.

This morning I introduced some new clients to existing clients who very kindly invited us to visit their garden and chat over coffee. We walked around the space and remarked on how the plants are settling in to the space and softening the hard landscaping. It prompted me to take a look through the photo reel and do a quick before, during and after. Today the Camellia is in full, glorious bloom and very soon the succession of mature Rhododendrons will burst into flower, just after the Magnolia. It was a very mature garden which I edited and added to in order to create a vibrant, usable and contemporary space for all the family.
